Gavin McCosh

Gavin is a Director with over 20 years’ experience in the Building and Project Consultancy sector. He is known for his commercial thinking and problem-solving ability, often unlocking development potential on difficult sites.

Gavin has overall responsibility for the Environmental, Energy and Sustainability Services within the Project and Building Consultancy team.

Gavin was one of the Founding Directors of Paragon Building Consultancy in 2009.

Prior to this, 2000 to 2009, Gavin was employed by Chisholm Nurser & Partners where he became a director, with responsibility for the Building Surveying team at the head office in London.

Gavin provides the full range of Building Surveying and Project Management services for a variety of commercial clients, including pension funds, banks, property companies and developers.

He has undertaken a number of large portfolio surveys across the UK and has project managed various large scale commercial schemes in all sectors, including particularly complicated ‘cut and carve’ redevelopments.

Due to Gavin’s attention to detail, many clients have requested his advice on Dilapidation strategies and negotiations, alongside contract administration and defect diagnosis.
