Gerrit Hielkema, AACI, P.App is an accredited real estate appraiser. Gerrit  is an independant contractor with Gerrit Hielkema Inc. working in association with Colliers International Canada.

Gerrit holds the AACI, P.App designation through the Appraisal Institute of Canada. The AACI designation is granted to individuals who have completed the AACI program of studies and fulfilled all the professional requirements of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. AACI members are qualified to offer valuation and consulting services and expertise for all types of real property.​

With previous experience as a  commercial banker, Gerrit has a keen understanding of what lenders are looking for within appraisals and ensures all reports meet these requiremnts. 

Gerrit  has experience valuing commercial real estate within Winnipeg and rural Manitoba. He specializes in commercial real estate appraisals for office, industrial, retail, multi-family, vacant land, and self-storage properties for a wide variety of clients including large multi-national corporations, financial lenders and small business owners. Bob joined Colliers International in 1997 brining with him many years of broad based experience in the commercial real estate industry.

Since his first commercial transaction converting a grocery store into a major brand auto dealership, he has gained experience in virtually all aspects of the real estate business.  His involvement includes: investment sales, property acquisition/disposition, site assembly, apartment sales, land development, and leasing.  With his industry tenure and multi-faceted experience, he is able to cross disciplines as required to service his existing clientele as well as assisting new referrals.
