The total volume of modern retail space in shopping centers in Bulgaria remained at 796,000 sqm.
Three new retail parks opened in the second half of 2020. Thus, the total supply reached 190,450 sqm i.e. an increase of 9% compared to the first six months and 19% to the end of 2019.
High streets in Plovdiv and Varna registered stable occupancy level on an annual basis, while those in Sofia and Burgas - a growth in vacant space.
Prime rents in Sofia remained stable, after the registered decline in the first half of the year, respectively 34 euros per sqm for shopping center and 50 euros per sqm on Vitosha Blvd.
