Our customers will highly appreciate his qualifications and year-long experience in the upscale hotel business.”
Daan Bakkenes about the current market opportunities in the hotel industry: “The ongoing pandemic will have lasting effects on how tourism will develop in the business as well as the holiday travel segment. In some areas we can expect a market adjustment and overall, we can use this opportunity to re-value brand concepts and the utilization of buildings. Hotel developers and investors will react accordingly and expand innovative concepts, like the mixed utilization of hotels. These advancements support operators to ensure a cost-efficient management of their property and will have a positive impact on the ROI as well as the investment for investors and developers. The global network of Colliers, especially in the commercial area, and my detailed industry knowledge, form and ideal combination. In the future, we will therefore continue to launch innovative concepts for the hotel business and strongly expand our hotel investment services.”
