VIENNA, 15.03.2021 – Just in time for the start of the extension works of the Vienna subway, Colliers succeeded in finding a suitable office space for ARGE U2xU5, which is above all located close to the construction site. The consortium consisting of SWIETELSKY, HOCHTIEF and HABAU was commissioned by Wiener Linien with the realization of two construction lots for the U2 and U5 lines.
"In the Beginning of March, the construction works on the stations and subway tunnels Rathaus and Frankhplatz have started. Therefore it was important for the companies involved to be close to the site," says Mario Stöckel, head of office department at Colliers Austria. "We are very pleased that we were able to find a location for the project office which is exactly above the currently running U2 line in Auerspergstraße."
