Jonathan Hood

Jonathan is head of the Residential valuation division at Colliers in the United Arab Emirates.

Over the past 8 years Jonathan has accumulated a wealth of market knowledge and experience in the valuation of residential property in the UAE and wider region including Egypt.

Jonathan’s background is in Architecture and his main areas of expertise include valuing bespoke villas in areas such as Emirates Hills, Dubai Hills Estate, Jumeirah Bay Island and Palm Jumeirah. He also values a range of properties including villas and villa compounds in GCC ownership areas such as Umm Suqeim, Jumeirah and Umm Al Sheif.

Jonathan works closely with a variety of stakeholders in the region such as developers and investors, in addition to financial institutions, providing valuation services to individual clients and banks.

Jonathan has been working in the MENA region since 2013 and during this time had undertaken valuations.

He is an active member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is a RICS Registered Valuer. Most recently he has been recognised by the Dubai Land Department as being one of the top valuers in the Emirate. He also is involved in the training and counselling of new student members of the RICS in order for them to obtain professional membership and status within the institution.  

Prior to joining Colliers International, Jonathan worked for residential property consultancies in the UK. His experience includes valuing and conducting full marketing appraisals for town and country residential properties.
